Paper Logs

Whilst having fun with the fire pit on Father's Day we tried out my Father-in-Law's Christmas pressie out. We had bought him a paper log maker, he had some ready made which we used on of, but he made some more with the children.

First get some shredded paper, put it in a tub add water and then get messy squishing it all up

Then squeeze extra water out and put it in the log maker

Squish it then tip the brick out onto a couple of sheets of paper

Wrap the brick up, them you need to leave to dry for a few months before you can use.

The children now have a brick each drying in Grandad's shed ready to use in his fire in the winter. They all had a great time, Grandad included.
